Seogwipo Maritime Police Station (Chief Yoon Tae-yeon) announced on the 6th that it held the Policy Advisory Committee’s first half regular meeting on the 5th at the Orem Hall conference room of the Seogwipo Maritime Police Station.

The Policy Advisory Committee, composed of 39 experts from various fields based in Seogwipo, shares policies and current issues through regular meetings every year.
In addition, through practical advisory activities, the committee analyzes, critiques, and provides opinions to ensure that policies aligned with the public’s perspective are realized, fulfilling its role as a public evaluator.
In this meeting, 16 members, including Lim Seong-woo, chairman of the Policy Advisory Committee, participated to discuss the maritime police’s achievements and work reports, major issues for 2023, and the operation plan of the Policy Advisory Committee.
Chief Yoon Tae-yeon said, “We ask for continued advice and cooperation so that many policies that the public can truly feel will be derived in the future.”
