Jangseong-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Living in the Countryside' Program Until the 10th

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 5th that it is recruiting participants for the 2nd session of the "Living in the Countryside" program until the 10th.

"Living in the Countryside" is a program that provides urban residents who wish to return to farming or rural areas with an opportunity to live in the countryside for three months. Participants can experience rural life, interact with residents, and feel the sentiment of living in the countryside.

To apply, search for "Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Center" on an internet portal site, access the site, and complete the membership registration process.

After entering "Living in the Countryside," set the desired area to Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, and a selection window for Byeollae-ri Village in Bukha-myeon will appear.

Byeollae-ri Village is close to major tourist attractions such as Baekyangsa Temple, Namchang Valley, and Jangseong Lake, making it an ideal place to fully enjoy the charm of Jangseong-gun.

Various village experience programs are also being operated, including astronomy experiences, forest experiences, and craft beer experiences.

Currently, two households from the 1st session of "Living in the Countryside" are staying in Byeollae-ri Village and participating in the program.

The recruitment period for the 2nd session is until the 10th, and participants will take part in village-run experience programs as well as the cultivation, processing, and distribution of forest products.

During the three-month experience period, participants are required to complete eight job experience sessions per month, such as helping with farming work.

A county official said, "We hope this 'Living in the Countryside' program will help with stable settlement after returning to farming or rural migration," adding, "We will strive to operate the program thoroughly so that people can feel closer to the county."
