Guardrail Collapse on Overpass in Jeongja-dong, Bundang... 1 Person in Cardiac Arrest, 1 Seriously Injured

At around 9:45 a.m. on the 5th, an accident occurred in Jeongja-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, where the railing of a bridge crossing a stream collapsed.

The bridge guardrail and signposts fell onto the walking path, injuring two people in their 30s who were passing by, causing serious injuries from being struck by the debris.

One of the injured was reported to have been transported to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest. Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
