Gyeonggawon to Stop Using Disposable Products from April... Joint Labor-Management Campaign Kang Seong-cheon, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, and employees are taking a commemorative photo after participating in a campaign to reduce disposable products.

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will launch the 'Disposable Products Reduction Campaign with Labor and Management' starting in April.

This campaign aims to raise awareness of the climate change crisis and carbon neutrality, encouraging voluntary reduction of disposable product use among the agency's employees, tenants of leased facilities, and residents of Gyeonggi-do.

The main campaign activities include ▲regular distribution of related online content such as card news and web posters ▲no provision of disposable products and use of reusable containers at agency-hosted events ▲guidance on refraining from using disposable products for both online and offline visitors.

The agency will also replace disposable cups with reusable cups in the cafeterias of seven buildings it manages in Pangyo and Gwanggyo. Additionally, cafes and convenience stores will offer discounts on beverages and size upgrade events when customers use tumblers.

Kang Seong-cheon, Director of the agency, stated, "In response to the climate change crisis, continuous individual behavioral change regarding disposable product use is important. Through this campaign, the agency pledges to lead the movement to reduce disposable products and build a sustainable society."
