According to major foreign media on the 3rd, Marcin Przydacz, the International Policy Advisor to the Polish President, stated in an interview with RMF that President Zelensky is scheduled to visit Warsaw and hold a summit with Andrzej Duda, President of Poland.

During this visit, President Zelensky plans to express gratitude to Poland for actively accepting Ukrainian refugees since the outbreak of the war and intends to meet directly with Ukrainian nationals residing there.

Additionally, arrangements are being made for a meeting with Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland.

Although Poland had strong resentment toward Ukraine, which was part of the Soviet Union during World War II, since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February last year, Poland has adopted a welcoming stance toward refugees and has so far accepted about 9.8 million people, the largest number among European countries.

Following his visit to the United States in December last year, President Zelensky visited the United Kingdom, France, and Belgium in early last month ahead of the first anniversary of the war, requesting active and swift support from the West for Ukraine.

Recently, he has been expanding his presence in the international community, stating that he is ready to engage in talks with Xi Jinping, President of China, and expressing his intention to invite him to Ukraine.
