Includes 110 Various Pieces of Information from Childbirth to Childcare by Life Cycle and Category
Childbirth Celebration Card Provided upon Birth Registration
Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) has produced the 'Childbirth and Parenting Integrated Guidebook' to make it easy to view welfare benefits related to childbirth and parenting at a glance.
This is an integrated guide that organizes childbirth and parenting-related project information promoted by the district to respond to the low birthrate issue and provide customized welfare support by life cycle in an easy-to-understand manner.
The integrated guidebook is divided into six categories and an appendix, providing welfare information by project. It is organized into ▲Pregnant Women and Infant Health Management ▲Childcare and Care Support ▲Parent Education ▲Festival Play Support ▲Support for Families with Multiple Children ▲Other Fields. The appendix contains information on various local facilities such as parks, playgrounds, libraries, family centers, daycare centers, and Our Neighborhood Care Centers.
The guidebook introduces 110 childbirth and parenting-related projects in Eunpyeong. These include ▲First Meeting Voucher Support ▲I-Mom Taxi Operation ▲Community Childcare Sharing Center Operation ▲Child Allowance and Parental Benefits Payment ▲Childcare Support Project ▲Infertile Couple Support ▲Maternal and Newborn Health Care Services ▲Seoul Baby Health First Steps, among others.
Starting this year, the district plans to deliver a childbirth and parenting integrated guidebook along with a congratulatory card celebrating the child's birth to residents who register a birth at the community center. The congratulatory card features a handwritten congratulatory message from the mayor and a QR code for Eunpyeong’s life cycle customized welfare services. By scanning the QR code with a mobile phone, users can easily check welfare service information divided into 18 interest topics by life cycle.
The integrated guidebook will also be provided to pregnant women visiting the public health center, and visiting nurses will personally distribute it to recipients of the Seoul Baby Health First Steps project. Anyone can download and view the 'Childbirth and Parenting Integrated Guidebook' by searching on the online Eunpyeong-gu website.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "The congratulatory card for childbirth is an attempt to sincerely celebrate the birth of a precious child in an era of population cliff caused by declining birth rates," and added, "We hope many residents will benefit from the diverse childbirth and parenting welfare information."
