The Future Education Support Center is scheduled to be newly established as an independent institution within the foundation in May, functioning as an intermediary cooperation and support organization for regional education development between Naju City and the Education Support Office.
It will serve as a mediator to enable local students to receive various educational demands beyond public education, linked and provided through various educational resources in the region, including public institutions relocated to the Innovation City.
The city plans to establish an educational governance involving the Education Office, schools, parents, and experts to discover and promote various educational demands such as students’ career paths, aptitudes, and experiential programs.
Applications can be submitted in person to the Naju Education Promotion Foundation by the 21st of next month.
The center will consist of four contract employees including the director, operating an Education Operation Team and an Education Cooperation Team. The public recruitment for staff will be announced in early next month.
After receiving applications, the foundation will select and announce the final successful candidate in May through document screening and interviews.
Yoon Byung-tae, mayor and chairman of the foundation, said, “The center will serve as a stepping stone for various educational stakeholders such as the Education Office, schools, parents, and experts to communicate and cooperate organically for nurturing future talents,” adding, “We will do our best to select the right candidate with the capability and insight to contribute to making Naju a premium education city.”
