- March 21, Vietnam Hanoi: Win Holdings Group and 'EcoWiz' Sign Technical Cooperation Agreement
- 'EcoWiz', a high-temperature pyrolysis system capable of decomposing various wastes through high-temperature pyrolysis
Ilheung High-Tech held a signing ceremony on March 21 in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, with Win Holdings Group, a Korean company operating in Vietnam, for technical cooperation related to the multi-layer high-temperature pyrolysis mobile system ‘EcoWiz’ that they successfully developed independently.
The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from Win Holdings Group, Ilheung High-Tech, and related organizations. Based on discussions about the significance and expected effects of collaboration between the two companies, they pledged to contribute to sustainable economic development and environmental protection through the establishment of a solid cooperative system in the future.
Ilheung High-Tech, which received technology transfer from a Japanese waste pyrolysis system specialist company, has been focusing on research and development since 2016 with the goal of domesticating and improving the technology. By integrating domestic incineration technology, they succeeded in developing ‘EcoWiz’ tailored to downstream environmental conditions. ‘EcoWiz’ is a high-temperature pyrolysis system designed to decompose various wastes, including combustible and non-combustible materials, through high-temperature pyrolysis. It is an eco-friendly incinerator that meets the standards for managing persistent organic pollutants and features multi-layer chamber technology.
Win Holdings Group, located in Hanoi, Vietnam, focuses on green and sustainable economic development, investing in real estate, clean energy, and advanced agriculture. It prioritizes waste management, climate change response, and greenhouse gas reduction as core values. Additionally, in line with the ‘2050 Carbon Neutral Nation Declaration’ announced by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) held in Glasgow, UK, in November 2021, the group continues efforts to contribute to fulfilling this pledge.
According to this agreement, Win Holdings Group installed the ‘EcoWiz EW-P50’ model in Bac Kan Province, located in northern Vietnam, on March 20. Moving forward, they plan to actively respond to environmental issues in Vietnam by strengthening the supply of waste incinerator products and technical cooperation through ‘EcoWiz’.
An Ilheung High-Tech official stated, “Win Holdings Group and Ilheung High-Tech are cooperative partners maintaining a close relationship in the field of environmental improvement in Vietnam. Based on this technical cooperation, more efficient waste management has become possible through local production of ‘EcoWiz’ in Vietnam.” He added, “Both companies will continue to seek development directions to realize their shared goal of contributing to sustainable economic development and environmental protection.”
