Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Lunit held its 10th regular general meeting of shareholders on the 30th and announced on the 31st that it resolved to approve the financial statements and appoint directors.
At the shareholders' meeting, Lunit reappointed Baek Seung-wook, the current chairman of the board, as an inside director for a three-year term. Chairman Baek founded Lunit in 2013 and served as CEO until 2018. He has been serving as the chairman of Lunit's board since 2014.
Chairman Baek said, "Lunit, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, aims to further develop the challenging spirit of a venture company from its early days and open a new future of sustainable growth. We will continue to enhance shareholder value through technological innovation and market expansion, while growing sustainably as a company that supports medical professionals and patients fighting cancer in medical fields worldwide."
At the meeting, a total of seven agenda items were approved, including ▲approval of last year's financial statements ▲partial amendment of the articles of incorporation ▲approval of the limits on directors' and auditors' remuneration.
