Eighteen executives and employees of the Korea Rural Community Corporation Uiryeong Branch donated funds on the 28th to support the development of Uiryeong County and the activation of the Hometown Love Donation Program.
This donation is especially meaningful as the executives and employees of the Uiryeong Branch, who have formed ties with Uiryeong through their hometown or workplace, voluntarily participated to support the county.
Employees of the Korea Rural Community Corporation Uiryeong Branch participated in the Hometown Love Donation Program.
Branch Manager Lee Kyung said, “I hope many fellow townspeople actively participate in the Hometown Love Donation Program to support Uiryeong,” adding, “Our branch staff will also cheer together for Uiryeong.”
Uiryeong County Governor Oh Tae-wan said, “I appreciate the hard work of all the executives and employees of the Uiryeong Branch who always strive for the development of Uiryeong’s agriculture and rural areas, as well as their participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program.”
The Korea Rural Community Corporation Uiryeong Branch has also set an example of fulfilling social responsibility and sharing as a public institution by donating scholarships to the Uiryeong County Scholarship Foundation in February to support the cultivation of local talent, thereby coexisting with the local community.
