The Gyeongnam Hapcheon Chunlan Promotion Exhibition was held at the National Assembly, the Hall of the People, on the 28th and 29th, attracting the attention of lawmakers nationwide and concluding successfully.

Co-hosted by Democratic Party lawmaker Ahn Ho-young and People Power Party lawmaker Kim Tae-ho to promote the industrialization of Korean Chunlan and Hapcheon Chunlan, the event was organized by Hapcheon County and the International Orchid Culture Foundation. It was jointly sponsored by more than 10 organizations, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and nationwide orchid associations.

At this exhibition, about 100 Chunlan orchids such as Taegukseon, Jungtu, and Bokryun, which are being cultivated in Hapcheon for the industrialization of Korean Chunlan, were displayed. Along with orchid planting experiences and photo zones, the event promoted the orchid industry and explained Chunlan cultivation techniques, drawing great interest not only from lawmakers but also from the general public visiting the National Assembly.
