[2023 Asset Disclosure] President Yoon's 7.7 Billion KRW, 500 Million KRW in Deposits... First Lady Kim Geon-hee's 7.1 Billion KRW

Increase of 57 million KRW since last August report... 7.7 billion KRW total, 7.1 billion KRW under Mrs. Kim's name

President Yoon Suk-yeol reported assets totaling 7,697,259,000 KRW as of the end of last year. This is an increase of 57,260,000 KRW compared to the asset registration first disclosed after his inauguration in August last year (7,639,999,000 KRW). The assets under President Yoon's name amount to approximately 500 million KRW in deposits.

The Government Official Ethics Committee published this declaration in the official gazette on the 30th.

The 7.7 billion KRW in assets declared by President Yoon are mostly under the name of his wife, Kim Geon-hee, totaling 7.16 billion KRW. Notably, more than half of the assets are in deposits. Deposits under President Yoon's name amounted to 537,393,000 KRW, while those under Mrs. Kim's name were 5,045,754,000 KRW. All of Mrs. Kim's deposits are held in two commercial banks.

Regarding real estate, only the couple's private residence, Acrovista in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, was registered. It was valued at 1.8 billion KRW, including a 26㎡ land share and a 164㎡ building. There was no change in the house price compared to the previous declaration.

Additionally, Mrs. Kim owns land worth approximately 314,112,000 KRW in Byeongsan-ri, Gangsang-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, including forest land, warehouse site, land, and road. President Yoon's parents refused to disclose their assets, citing independent livelihood maintenance.
