Han Hwa-jin, Minister of Environment, reported owning assets worth approximately 2.823 billion KRW, including savings and apartments.
According to the 2023 regular asset disclosure for high-ranking public officials announced by the Government Ethics Committee on the 30th, Minister Han owns a jeonse leasehold right worth 236 million KRW for an apartment in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and an apartment owned by her spouse in Jeongneung-dong, Seongbuk-gu, worth 514 million KRW, totaling 750 million KRW.

The 2012 SM3 vehicle owned by her spouse was reported to be worth 3.8 million KRW.
Among her total assets, savings accounted for the largest portion. She reported total savings of 1.54 billion KRW in her name and 418 million KRW in her spouse’s name, totaling 1.959 billion KRW. She also holds financial bonds worth 110 million KRW related to small and medium-sized enterprises.
Cho Seung-hwan, Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, reported owning assets worth 1.07 billion KRW.
Minister Cho stated that he owns an apartment in Hansol-dong, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, worth 711 million KRW, and his eldest son owns an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, worth 240 million KRW, totaling 951 million KRW.
He reported savings of 274 million KRW in his name, 20 million KRW in his mother’s name, and 25 million KRW in his eldest son’s name, totaling 320 million KRW. He also declared a 1-carat diamond worth 5 million KRW owned by his spouse.
Minister Cho reported debts totaling 199 million KRW, including 99 million KRW in his name and 100 million KRW in his eldest son’s name.
