Known as the "holy ground of K Dance," 1MILLION (co-CEOs Lia Kim and Yoon Yeo-wook), which attracted startup investment funds last year, is gaining momentum in its content platform technology development business.

On the 29th, 1MILLION announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) the day before with Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH, President Kim Moo-hwan) to recognize the value of technology exchange and strengthen mutual cooperation.

The MOU includes provisions for personnel exchanges among faculty, researchers, and experts; lending of research facilities and equipment; support for prototype production; discovery of joint research and development projects; and giving priority to the other institution as a participating organization when forming consortia to support national projects.

1MILLION stated that this MOU is part of concretizing the future vision of 1MILLION revealed by CEO Lia Kim at 'ComeUp 2022,' the largest domestic startup festival hosted last year by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Startup Forum.

At that time, CEO Lia Kim said, "We will create a platform and tools that digitize choreography works to prove that they are the products of specific creators, while also sharing and trading standardized results."

Meanwhile, 1MILLION is the largest domestic entertainment company in the dance sector, aiming to monetize through dance-related education, content production, and choreographer management. It currently operates a YouTube channel with 26 million subscribers and is called the "holy ground of K Dance."
