Ildong Pharmaceutical "Aronamin, Brand Power No.1 for 10 Consecutive Years"

Ildong Pharmaceutical announced on the 29th that its active vitamin supplement 'Aronamin' has ranked first in the comprehensive nutritional supplement category for 10 consecutive years in the '2023 Korea Brand Power' conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

The Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) is a system established by Korea Management Association Consulting that selects brands representing consumer life in South Korea through annual consumer surveys, evaluations, and certifications.


This consumer survey was conducted from October 2022 to January 2023 through one-on-one individual interviews with approximately 12,300 men and women aged 15 to under 60 in Seoul and six major metropolitan cities.


As a result of the survey, Aronamin ranked first in all detailed indicators of brand awareness, which measures the extent to which consumers recognize or recall a specific brand within a certain category, including ▲top-of-mind awareness ▲unaided awareness ▲aided awareness. In terms of brand loyalty, which refers to the degree of affection or attachment consumers have toward a specific brand, Aronamin also showed consistent superiority over competing brands in detailed indicators such as ▲brand image ▲purchase intent ▲preference.


Last year, the total sales of the Aronamin series reached approximately 69.1 billion KRW. According to IQVIA data, a pharmaceutical market research firm, it ranked first in sales among over-the-counter vitamin brands.


Hwang Jun-ha, head of the OTC2 team at Ildong Pharmaceutical, stated, "This achievement is the result of continuously promoting the product attributes and efficacy of the active vitamins contained in Aronamin, while reflecting consumer demands and market trends to steadily pursue brand expansion and segmentation."
