SuperDuper Global 2nd Branch Opens on Hongdae Street in April
Popular Gangnam 1st Branch, Focus on Expanding Stores in Key Commercial Areas
Comprehensive dining company bhc Group's premium handmade burger brand 'SuperDuper' is launching its global second store in Hongdae, Seoul, marking the beginning of an active expansion of its outlets.
SuperDuper announced on the 29th that following the popularity of its global first store in Gangnam, which attracted mainly the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), it will open its global second store, the Hongdae branch, near Exit 2 of Hongdae Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, a place frequented by young people, next month.
The Hongdae area, where the Hongdae branch will be located, is one of the most visited places by people in their 20s and 30s and is a hot spot attracting not only locals but also many foreign tourists.
Currently, the Hongdae branch is installing partitions and undergoing space preparation for renovation. The interior concept emphasizes a sophisticated design and lively atmosphere with orange and warm-colored lighting, similar to the Gangnam branch.
bhc Group's SuperDuper is a premium handmade burger brand representing the western United States city of San Francisco and was first introduced domestically with the opening of the Gangnam branch last November. Since opening, it has become a popular spot on social networking services (SNS) due to its trendy burger flavors and the appeal of its dining restaurant space, selling about 20,000 burger menu items within two weeks of opening.
Following the Gangnam branch, SuperDuper plans to combine burgers and dining at the Hongdae branch to establish it as a special space popular among the MZ generation, embodying the value of slow food.
SuperDuper is currently reviewing new store locations mainly in hot spots frequented by the MZ generation so that more customers can enjoy SuperDuper. The strategy is to actively expand stores this year.
