Contract Extension Until 2027
Kyobo Life Insurance has decided to continue sponsoring the Korea Football Association (KFA) this year as well. By extending the existing contract, the sponsorship will enter its 26th year.
On the 29th, Kyobo Life Insurance announced that it signed an official partnership sponsorship agreement with the KFA until 2027, covering the KFA and the South Korea national football team.
Previously, Kyobo Life Insurance has been the only official partner of the national team in the insurance industry for over 20 years since 2002. With this agreement, the contract with the KFA has been extended for four years until 2027, allowing Kyobo Life to participate as a partner in the 2026 United World Cup (co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico).
During the contract period, Kyobo Life Insurance will hold advertising rights on the A-board at KFA-hosted representative team matches, rights to use the team's image, and rights to conduct promotions. Additionally, it will hold rights related to the development of South Korean football, including all levels of national football teams, youth leagues, and recreational football leagues.
Pyun Jeong-beom, CEO of Kyobo Life Insurance, stated, "The national football team, which reached the round of 16 at last year's Qatar World Cup with an unyielding spirit, closely resembles Kyobo Life's philosophy of sustainable management. Through 26 years of sponsorship of the South Korea national football team, we will demonstrate a sincere partnership to become a company that brings joy to the people."
