Venture capital (VC) firm LB Investment is showing strong performance in the early trading hours on its first day listed on the KOSDAQ on the 29th.
At around 9:15 AM on the KOSDAQ market, LB Investment was trading at 7,170 KRW, up 10.31% from its opening price of 6,500 KRW. This price is 40.6% higher than the public offering price of 5,100 KRW.
In the institutional investor demand forecast conducted earlier, LB Investment recorded a competition rate of 1,298 to 1, and the subscription competition rate among general investors was 1,166 to 1.
LB Investment is the successor of LG Startup Investment, established in 1996 with investments from LG Electronics, LG Cable, and others. It has earned more than tenfold profits by investing in promising companies such as HYBE, Pearl Abyss, and Kakao Games. Currently, it holds a diverse portfolio including Musinsa, ABLY, and Musicow.
