KB Securities Builds Data Analysis Portal to Strengthen In-House Data Analysis Capabilities

KB Securities announced on the 29th that it has built a data analysis portal called ‘Data Universe’ to enhance management efficiency and strengthen customer management through the spread of a data-driven decision-making culture within the company.

To build Data Universe, KB Securities collected and refined scattered internal data to create an analysis database (Data Base) that users can easily utilize. By introducing solutions that provide Self-BI (Self-service Business Intelligence) and data visualization functions, they developed more than 80 types of data visualization screens.

Additionally, KB Securities launched a separate portal website so that employees can easily use various functions such as data search and inquiry needed for their work on a single screen. Furthermore, by providing an intuitive UI (User Interface) and user-friendly UX (User Experience), employees can analyze data more easily and quickly and utilize the results.

Through the newly established Data Universe, KB Securities plans to enable even non-data experts to easily perform analysis tasks on various information such as △ data analysis for product and service development △ management information analysis including sales performance △ media usage performance and changes in sales support systems, and furthermore, to spread a data-driven working culture within the company.

Kim Myung-jun, Head of the Data Solution Lab at KB Securities, said, “By building the data analysis portal, the accuracy and efficiency of management will improve, and the company’s internal data analysis capabilities will be greatly strengthened.” He added, “Through this, we expect to provide various customized services quickly and efficiently to customers using KB Securities.”
