Police Tracking Man Who Stole 150 Don of Gold and Fled
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Police are tracking a man who broke the glass door of a jewelry store with a hammer in the early morning hours and fled after stealing valuables.
On the 29th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced that they are pursuing a man identified as A, who is suspected of special theft and other charges.
A is accused of breaking the glass door of a jewelry store in Singil-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, with a hammer around 3:30 a.m. that day and stealing approximately 150 don of gold before fleeing.
According to the police, it took less than two minutes from the time A entered the jewelry store to when he stole the valuables and escaped.
A police official stated, "We are currently tracking the man through analysis of closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage."
