Samjin Architects Office Donates 3 Million KRW Development Fund to Chosun University

Chosun University (President Min Young-don) announced on the 28th that Lee Bong-su, CEO of Samjin Architects & Engineers Co., Ltd., donated 3 million KRW to the Department of Architecture (5-year program) as a development fund.


Attending the donation ceremony were CEO Lee Bong-su, Director Kim Young-nam, Deputy General Manager Park Tae-ui, Chosun University President Min Young-don, Director Gong Jin-seong of External Cooperation, Head of the Department of Architecture Shin Woong-ju, and Professor Kim Kyung-won of the Department of Architecture. At the ceremony, a plaque of appreciation was also presented to CEO Lee.


Samjin Architects Office Donates 3 Million KRW Development Fund to Chosun University

This is not the first donation from CEO Lee, an alumnus of Chosun University's Department of Architecture. Since starting his donation to the College of Engineering in 2011, he has donated approximately 10 million KRW to the development fund and scholarship fund of the Department of Architecture.


CEO Lee Bong-su said, "Although it has been a long time since I graduated, I have never forgotten my alma mater," and added, "I have tried to be a senior who is not ashamed in front of my juniors. I will continue to work hard to be able to donate continuously for the juniors."


President Min Young-don expressed gratitude, saying, "I thank CEO Lee Bong-su for not forgetting the school and juniors and for making his fourth donation already," and added, "I hope Samjin Architects & Engineers Co., Ltd. will continue to be with Chosun University for a long time."


Meanwhile, CEO Lee Bong-su earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Chosun University and has been operating Samjin Architects & Engineers Co., Ltd. since 1999. He is also active as a researcher at the Namdo Buddhist Culture Research Association, a director of the Korea Traditional Music Preservation Society, and CEO of the Architectural Cultural Heritage Research Institute.
