Donation of 150 Self-Produced Oriental Stork Ecology Books
On the 27th, Changnyeong-gun in Gyeongnam Province delivered 150 copies of the book "Ttaoki, Flying Again in the Sky of Changnyeong" to the Changnyeong Office of Education in Gyeongsangnam-do and held a donation ceremony to commemorate the event.
The county placed the books in elementary, middle, and high schools within the county to provide children and youth with opportunities to explore careers in ecology and environmental fields, and additionally stocked them in public libraries (Changnyeong and Namji) so that the general public can also access ecological books about Ttaoki.

The book contains explanations of Ttaoki's ecology and restoration process, along with seasonal photos of Ttaoki taken directly by public officials, making it easy to understand and highly complete, allowing students to learn about biodiversity and develop ecological sensitivity.
A county official said, "The book was written by staff involved in the Ttaoki restoration project, detailing the restoration process and vivid wild adaptation stages," adding, "We will strive to cultivate students' ecological sensitivity through the book and positively impact the local natural environment."
The county plans to donate the books to the National Library of Korea in the future and additionally place them in the Yeongsan Library and the small library within the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center, both affiliated with the county.
