On the 28th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that former Captain Lee was booked this month on assault charges.
Former Captain Lee is accused of assaulting Guje-yeok in a hallway near the courtroom after being tried on passport law violations and other charges on the 20th. At that time, Guje-yeok followed former Captain Lee and asked, "You have lived as a credit delinquent for six years; aren't you sorry to your creditors?" Former Captain Lee became angry and struck Guje-yeok's face once. When Guje-yeok asked again, former Captain Lee cursed and forcefully hit Guje-yeok's hand. During this incident, Guje-yeok's cellphone fell to the ground.
A police official stated, "No specific summons schedule has been set for former Captain Lee," and added, "We will investigate the exact circumstances of the incident."
