End of Special Exhibition at Hansik Culture Center
Special Discount Event on Commemorative Exhibits
Cheongsong Culture and Tourism Foundation (Chairperson Yoon Kyung-hee) is holding a “Special Discount Event on Exhibition Items” for three days from March 31 to April 2 to commemorate the end of the Cheongsong Baekja Special Exhibition at the Korean Food Culture Center Eum Gallery located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
This event was organized as a token of appreciation for the overwhelming popularity and great interest the ‘Cheongsong Baekja Special Exhibition,’ held by the Korean Food Promotion Institute to celebrate the reopening of the Korean Food Culture Center, received from visitors over the past five months.
The special discount will apply only to the 219 pieces displayed on-site (Korean Food Promotion Institute 1F). Online advance reservations and visit bookings are currently being accepted through the Cheongsong Baekja shopping mall, and many products have already been reserved.
In particular, this special exhibition showcases the restrained beauty of lines unique to Cheongsong Baekja, themed around Korean ingredients, the four seasons, and nature, creating a sensory ‘Dameumsae’ (the arrangement of food in a dish) by making the most of Korean ingredients and natural materials.
Additionally, various experiential events such as a photo zone where visitors can style using Cheongsong Baekja and take pictures of themselves shaping Cheongsong Baekja on a potter’s wheel will be prepared.
Yoon Kyung-hee, Chairperson of the Cheongsong Culture and Tourism Foundation, said, “If Cheongsong Baekja, a representative cultural resource of the Cheongsong region, is exhibited, experienced, and promoted together with Korean food, it will create great synergy for the local cultural tourism industry,” adding, “I hope this will serve as an opportunity to establish a cooperative system that allows mutual use and exchange of business content in the future.”
