Come to Pohang in Spring When Flowers Bloom! ... Cherry Blossom Hotspot SNS Event Held

Pohang City is holding an SNS event called ‘I Also Certify Pohang Cherry Blossom Spots in Spring’ for 16 days from March 25 to April 9 to welcome the warm spring.

This event was planned to promote Pohang’s famous spots that are great for spring tourism by encouraging certification photo shoots at the city’s major cherry blossom locations and to attract tourists to visit Pohang during the cherry blossom blooming period.

After following Pohang City’s official SNS accounts (Facebook and Instagram), participants can visit one of the five recommended cherry blossom spots (Yeongildae Lake Park, Oeosa Temple, Hwanho Park, Homigot Canola Flower Field, and Cheolgilsup Forest) or any other cherry blossom spot in Pohang they know personally, take a certification photo, upload the photo on their own SNS with hashtags, and then like the event post and comment ‘Participation Completed’ to join the event.

The city plans to randomly select 20 applicants later and provide each with a coffee coupon and one of three types of tourism souvenirs.

This event is aimed at tourists visiting from outside the city to revitalize Pohang tourism, so residents with an address in Pohang are not eligible to participate. Winners will be announced on April 13 through Pohang City’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts.
