Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced the "New Cook Recruitment Plan" on the 27th to select 250 educational public service workers (cooks) in the first half of 2023.
This recruitment aims to promptly fill the necessary personnel for each institution due to retirements and vacancies of cooks in the second half of 2023.
Applications will be accepted for three days from April 4 to 6 through the "Educational Public Service Worker Recruitment Management System."
The first test will be conducted through document screening, and successful candidates will be announced on April 28. Afterwards, the second test, an interview, will be held on May 13, and the final successful candidates will be announced on May 19.

Heo Su-in, Director of Labor-Management Administrative Information Division at the Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "This open recruitment, which will be conducted more transparently and fairly than ever, will enable timely staffing of cooks," and added, "We ask for the interest and participation of many people for the smooth operation of school and institution meal services."
