Did a 'Tank' Appear at the Changwon Jinhae Gunhangje Festival? During the Gunhangje Festival, the tanks and self-propelled guns displayed at Jungwon Rotary are attracting a lot of tourists' attention.

The K2 tank and K9 self-propelled howitzer are representative weapons of South Korea. The K2 tank, the main battle tank used by the Army (in cooperation with Hyundai Rotem), boasts an electronic control system and powerful firepower, and last July, a large-scale export contract worth 4.5 trillion KRW was signed with Poland.

The K9 self-propelled howitzer (in cooperation with the Army Comprehensive Maintenance Depot) is a 155mm self-propelled howitzer used by the Army. It holds the number one market share in the global self-propelled howitzer market and is considered the best self-propelled howitzer, having been exported to eight countries including Poland, Norway, and Australia. It can rapidly fire six shells per minute and features precise shooting and excellent mobility.
