If You Live in I-Park Apartments, You Can Access Kyobo Bookstore E-Books

Kyobo Book Centre's e-book and cultural content services are set to be introduced in HDC Hyundai Development Company's I-Park apartments.

On the 27th, HDC Hyundai Development Company signed a business agreement with Kyobo Book Centre to develop the ‘I-Park Books (PARK BOOKS)’ service, which allows I-Park residents to conveniently access Kyobo Book Centre's e-book platform and various cultural contents through the ‘I-Park Home’ application and the ‘HDC Mobile Homepad’.

Through this business agreement, I-Park residents will be able to receive book and video content recommendations from Kyobo Book Centre and access Kyobo Book Centre's e-book library platform services via the HDC Mobile Homepad.

HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to first apply the ‘IPARK BOOKS’ service, developed in cooperation with Kyobo Book Centre, to the Gwangmyeong Central I-Park, scheduled for sale in the first half of this year, and will gradually expand the service to other complexes thereafter.

HDC Hyundai Development Company is actively introducing various smart technologies to enable I-Park residents to live more conveniently at home. Earlier in January, it signed a business agreement with LG Electronics and HDC Labs to develop an IoT platform that allows control and status checks of LG Electronics' home appliances via an application, which will be sequentially applied starting from complexes scheduled for sale in the fourth quarter of this year.

In addition, systems such as the ‘Facial Recognition Smart One-Pass System,’ which recognizes residents' faces from the main entrance to the unit door to allow access, and the ‘Smart Parking System,’ which guides available parking spaces upon entry and allows residents to check their car’s parking location through the application and homepad, have been introduced and are currently in operation.

HDC Hyundai Development Company stated, “Through this business agreement, we will promote the development of various services to enhance cooperation with Kyobo Book Centre in diverse knowledge and arts culture contents,” adding, “We plan to continue creating diverse and smart changes for the I-Park brand.”
