Jeongeup-si 'Wemakeprice O' Public Delivery App Project Promotion

Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk is set to actively promote the Jeongeup-style public delivery app project, a pledge of the 8th local government administration.

On the 27th, the city announced that it will introduce the public delivery app ‘WEMAKEPRICE O’ to significantly reduce delivery app fees for local small business owners, thereby easing their financial burden and helping them develop online sales channels.

On the 14th, the city took the first official step in the public delivery app project by signing a business agreement with WEMAKEPRICE O Co., Ltd. (CEO Ha Jae-wook).

‘WEMAKEPRICE O’ offers a franchisee commission rate of 2%, which is cheaper than private delivery apps that charge between 6% and 15%, and allows stores to join without any registration fees, helping reduce the management burden on franchisees.

In particular, when franchisees accept payment using local love gift certificates, unlike card fees, no payment gateway (PG) fees are incurred.

Consumers who sign up can use Jeongeup Love Gift Certificates as a payment method at a 10% discounted price and receive a 1% payback benefit on their purchase amount.

Additionally, various events and discount promotions such as first order discounts, specific day discount coupons, and delivery fee discounts will be held together.

‘WEMAKEPRICE O’ is scheduled to open its service on May 1, and store owners who wish to register can apply for entry by searching for ‘WEMAKEPRICE O Partners’ online.

The city expects this public delivery app project to greatly contribute to the local economy by increasing the income of small business owners struggling with management and reducing the economic burden on consumers.

Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “I hope this project will help stabilize the management of small business owners and revitalize the local economy,” adding, “We ask for the citizens’ great interest and participation so that the Jeongeup-style public delivery app can benefit all citizens through responsible consumption.”
