Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held a courtesy and hygiene service training session on the 24th at the Ulleung-gun Community Center for about 150 food hygiene business owners to welcome the full-fledged tourism season.
This training, organized by Ulleung-gun and the Gyeongbuk branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, is a legally mandated annual education for hygiene business owners and hygiene management supervisors.
Ulleung County invited professional instructors to conduct kindness and hygiene training for employees of food hygiene establishments.
On this day, a professional instructor was invited to conduct the training, covering key compliance points of the Food Sanitation Act, food poisoning prevention education, labor management for business operators, and courtesy training.
Additionally, a second training session will be held in November during the second half of the year for business owners who were unable to attend this session.
Nam Han-gwon, the county governor, stated, “We hope this training will help establish a sound dining culture by thoroughly improving hygiene management and service levels.”
