Apply at Eup/Myeon Office... Payment Scheduled by End of May
Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do will support 50% of the increase in electricity charges used for agricultural purposes such as crop cultivation and production.
According to the county on the 27th, to alleviate the increased management burden on farms due to rising electricity rates and to promote management stability, they will support the increase in agricultural electricity charges for △ January-February of this year △ October-December of last year.

The support rate is 50% of the electricity charge increase for the three months from October to December last year, and the support unit price is 9.05 KRW per kWh.
They will also support 50% of the electricity charge increase for January-February (14.1 KRW per kWh).
The support targets are farmers residing in Jindo-gun who use electricity for agricultural seedling cultivation, livestock farming, crop cultivation, low-temperature storage facilities, pest control and lure lights, agricultural product drying facilities, etc.
Applications for the project can be submitted to the eup/myeon offices by May 3rd, along with the application form and electricity bill payment receipts.
The county plans to verify the submitted supporting documents, the electricity consumption, and payment details of the applicants through the Korea Electric Power Corporation Jindo branch and pay the support funds by the end of May.
A representative from the Jindo-gun Agricultural Support Division said, “In a situation where the management burden on farms has increased due to rising energy prices and agricultural material costs, we hope this support will help with farm operations and preparation for farming.”
