Air Busan will add flights on the Busan-Jeju route for about a month until the 30th of next month to improve air travel convenience for passengers experiencing a shortage of seats on the Jeju route.

Air Busan announced that it will operate 94 additional temporary flights on the Busan-Jeju route from the 26th of last month until April 30th.

This increase accounts for about 17% of the total 546 flights operated on the Busan-Jeju route last month by Air Busan, providing 18,360 seats.

Air Busan decided to add flights on the Busan-Jeju route to alleviate the worsening seat shortage on the Jeju route and to increase supply on regional routes, which are relatively weaker compared to the metropolitan area.

Air Busan temporarily increased about 100 flights on the Jeju route from last month through this month, and also continuously operated temporary additional flights last year to improve travel convenience for Jeju route passengers.

An Air Busan official said, “We expect this increase to help not only travelers heading to Jeju for spring but also passengers who need to travel out of necessity,” adding, “We will continue to consider and strive to enhance travel convenience for local residents.”
