On the 25th (local time), Yu Hae-ran shot 8 under par in the third round of the LPGA Drive On Championship (total prize money $1.75 million) held at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club (par 72, 6,526 yards) in Gold Canyon, Arizona, USA, rising to a tie for 2nd place by 1 stroke (15 under par, 201 strokes). Making her LPGA Tour debut, Yu said, "I feel great after eagling the last 18th hole (par 5)," and added, "I will show great play tomorrow as well."

- As a rookie making your LPGA Tour debut, how do you feel?
▲ "I was quite nervous coming to the tournament venue. Fortunately, the tension disappeared once I started playing on the course. I will show even better play tomorrow."
- How do you relieve tension?
▲ "Outside the course, I chat with my parents. On the course, I talk a lot with my caddie to ease my nerves."
- How did you approach your play?
▲ "I played alongside Jeon In-ji. I asked her a lot of questions because I was curious. Also, my veteran caddie helped me a lot. We discussed strategies for attacking the holes."
- You will be playing the final round in the champion group.
▲ "I have often experienced this in Korea. Still, since this is my first time on the LPGA Tour, I will play each shot carefully."
