KLPGA Dream Tour "2023 Season Start"

SBS Golf·Lotte Open Opens on the 27th in Buyeo
Jo Jeong-min, Choi Hye-yong, Choi Ga-ram, Chen You-ju Participate

The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Dream (2nd division) Tour is kicking off.


From the 27th for two days, the 2023 SBS Golf·Lotte Open Dream Tour (total prize money of 70 million KRW) will be held at Lotte Skyhill Country Club in Buyeo, Chungnam (par 72, 6,076 yards). The top 16 professional players and 3 amateurs in the standings will receive entry rights to the regular tour Lotte Open held in June.


KLPGA Dream Tour "2023 Season Start" KLPGA five-time champion Jo Jeong-min is challenging for the title at the SBS Golf·Lotte Open Dream Tour.

A total of 144 players will participate, including 120 qualified professionals and 24 recommended amateur players. Among the 39 Dream Tour card holders, 33 have declared their participation. Players from the regular tour stand out. Notable names include Cho Jeong-min, who has accumulated 5 career wins, 2008 Rookie of the Year Choi Hye-yong, and Choi Ga-ram, who joined the K-10 in 2021. Additionally, Kim Hee-jun, Moon Jeong-min, Park Dan-yu, Park Bo-gyeom, and Park Hye-jun have joined the field.


Chen Yu-ju (Taiwan), who finished 2nd in last October’s International Qualifying Tournament, and Katie Yoo (USA), who placed 5th, will also make their Dream Tour debut. The "National Team Four Musketeers" ? Park Ye-ji, Yoo Hyun-jo, Seo Gyo-rim, and Lee Jeong-hyun ? will participate. Amateur standouts such as Lee Hyo-song, Yang Hyo-jin, Lim Sa-rang, Park Seo-jin, Hong Soo-min, and Yoo Ah-hyun will also compete.


The Dream Tour will begin its intense approximately eight-month journey starting with this tournament, competing for regular tour card rights for the 2024 season. This year, the tour will consist of 20 tournaments with a total prize money of 1.84 billion KRW.
