Seocho-gu Youth Support for Successful Overseas Employment

Signing of a Business Agreement between Seocho-gu and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea

Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) signed a business agreement with the Human Resources Development Service of Korea on the 24th to support the successful overseas employment of young people, and will officially launch the "Seocho-gu Customized Youth Overseas Employment Support Program" starting next month.

The signing ceremony was held at the district office with the attendance of Mayor Jeon Seong-su of Seocho-gu, Oh Soo-bong, Chairman of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and other related officials.

The agreement includes ▲ promotion and program support for youth overseas advancement ▲ mutual opening of facilities and spaces for events related to overseas employment support ▲ mutual cooperation for nurturing young talent and revitalizing the local economy based on the capabilities and networks possessed by the institutions.

So far, cooperation between the district and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea began in August last year during the process of the district negotiating with central government departments and affiliated organizations to support youth overseas employment projects.

Starting with visits to the Seoul Overseas Employment Center of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea located near Seocho-gu, several meetings were held, ultimately leading to the agreement.

At the signing ceremony, Mayor Jeon Seong-su of Seocho-gu said, “We will make further efforts to provide employment opportunities to young job seekers and help them grow into global talents.”
