With the indoor and outdoor mask-wearing mandate lifted entirely except for some facilities, demand from consumers looking to enjoy outings has increased, and the distribution industry is actively marketing the spring season’s ‘Cherry Blossom Viewing’ for the first time in four years without masks.

In particular, since the mask mandate on public transportation was lifted on the 20th, demand for dressing up to enjoy outings has grown. However, amid weakened purchasing sentiment due to high interest rates and inflation, more consumers are buying only what is necessary and seeking to maximize benefits in a practical way.

Moda Outlet, a fashion specialty outlet, is holding a ‘Spring Moda Day’ event targeting cherry consumers who prefer practical and thrifty spending due to the heavy economic burden. The company announced that sales of spring jackets increased by 32% compared to the same period last year and prepared an event emphasizing the biggest benefits of the year.

This event runs until March 26 and offers up to 10,000 KRW in benefits through a simple payment event. First, when paying with OK Cashback Thick Points, 5,000 points can be used immediately. The payment amount conditions vary by branch.

Additionally, when paying with Naver Pay (Points/Money) QR payment and meeting the payment amount conditions, customers can receive a Moda gift certificate worth 5,000 KRW (available at Daegu, Daejeon, Gonjiam, Gyeongju Pohang, Jinju, Ulsan, Gimcheon Gumi, Suncheon, Chungju, Jeonju Gimje, and Siheung branches).

A, who visited Moda Outlet Siheung branch, said, “Although the 5,000 KRW benefit may seem small, it does not feel insignificant in these economically difficult times,” and added, “I hope the distribution industry provides benefits that consumers can truly feel.”
