Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will recruit candidates for the Small Business Management Environment Improvement Project until April 5.

The support amount is up to 3 million KRW per business within 80% of the total supply price. Eligible applicants are small business owners who have operated a business in Gurye-gun for more than six months as of the announcement date (March 21, 2023) based on their business registration certificate. Candidates will be selected based on high scores considering national and local tax payment records and business operation periods.

However, businesses that cannot provide sales proof from the previous year, those with national or local tax arrears, and businesses that are temporarily closed or permanently shut down are excluded from support. Additionally, if a business owner operates multiple locations, they can only apply for one business location.

This year, about 70 businesses will be selected through announcements in the first and second halves of the year, with 40 businesses to be prioritized in the first half.

The application period is from March 27 to April 5, and applicants must submit the application form and required documents to the Economic Vitality Division of Gurye-gun Office.

County Governor Kim Soon-ho said, “As the management burden on small business owners increases due to high oil prices and high interest rates, we hope this project will provide some comfort and practical help to small business owners who are physically and mentally exhausted, helping them overcome management difficulties. We will continue to develop and support various policies for small business owners in the region.”
