On the 23rd, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it will operate the ‘Youth Counseling Maum Toktok Program’ to support psychological counseling for local youth.
This program was prepared to help young people become healthy members of society through various forms of psychological counseling such as individual counseling, psychological tests, and psychological seminars.
Individual counseling is conducted as one-on-one face-to-face sessions with psychological experts on various concerns such as personality, career, health, finances, and interpersonal relationships, with up to 8 sessions available.
In addition, participants in individual counseling will receive personalized psychological tests including MBTI, Enneagram, TCI personality temperament test, Holland career exploration, U&I learning style, and HTP drawing test.
Furthermore, Buk-gu operates small-scale psychological seminars quarterly on topics such as finding a romantic partner and trauma healing.
The program is open to youth aged 19 to 39 who reside or are active in Buk-gu.
The counseling program is operated by advance reservation from this month until December, and youth who wish to participate can apply for a reservation at the Buk-gu Youth Center. More detailed information can be found on the Buk-gu Youth Center website.
