The Yeongyang-gun Urban Regeneration Support Center (Director Bae Jun-hyun) will hold the urban regeneration flea market 'Byeolbyeol Madang' in the yard of Yeongyang Brewery on the 24th.
This event was planned with the voluntary participation of the Yeongyang-gun Flea Market Promotion Committee, formed in 2022 as part of the urban regeneration project, and local residents selling handicrafts and food, continuing from last year into this year.
A total of 12 teams, six each from handicrafts (Areumdawoom Workshop, Deulkot, Solhyangwon, Mollingyu, Atelier Herang, Kkotilda) and food (Yeongyang-gun Flower Tea Social Cooperative, Sweet Tree Farm, Ttobagi Dried Seafood, Doni Dessert, Farmer's Kitchen, Bom Salad), will participate, selling handicraft accessories, woodcrafts, preserved flowers, porcelain art, flower tea, dried seafood, and agricultural and specialty products from Yeongyang-gun.
Subsequently, flea markets will be held at the same location on April 21 and during the Wild Vegetable Festival period (May 11?14), and from June, they will be held on the fourth Friday of every month.
Director Bae Jun-hyun said, “It is meaningful that the flea market 'Byeolbyeol Madang' can be continuously operated through the voluntary participation of the promotion committee and residents, preserving the purpose of the urban regeneration project,” adding, “We will continue to hold the event to promote Yeongyang Brewery and contribute to revitalizing the local community.”
