Outdoor brand K2 announced on the 23rd the launch of the hiking shoes ‘Flyhike Pure,’ which provide comfort perfectly suited to the wide feet of Koreans.
Flyhike Pure offers a comfortable fit tailored to Korean foot width by increasing the volume space at the front of the shoe compared to previous models. Additionally, dual edge mud guards are applied to the sides of the shoes to protect the feet in rough environments and enhance stability. The midsole features graphene foam, known as a dream material, and K2’s proprietary Flyfoam technology, which implements dual physical properties according to different pressures on various parts during walking, delivering optimal cushioning and stability.
The outsole, X-Grip, developed to suit granite that accounts for over 80% of Korea’s terrain, features a block pattern with more than 200% increased contact area compared to previous versions, providing excellent grip. The Gore-Tex Invisible Fit bonding technology, which bonds the inside and outside of the shoe as one, enhances waterproof, windproof, and breathable functions, as well as lightness and comfort.
With a simpler and more sophisticated design compared to regular hiking shoes, it is a product suitable for outdoor activities such as mountain climbing and hiking, as well as for travel and everyday life. It is available in four colors: black, cream, mint, and gray.
K2 also released a commercial for ‘Flyhike Pure’ featuring model Suzy. It can be viewed on K2’s official social media channels, as well as on Naver TV and YouTube.
