Dongseo Food has launched the capsule coffee brand ‘Maxim Kanu Barista’ to resolve the inconveniences consumers experienced while drinking capsule coffee and to provide the best coffee experience.
Kanu Barista, based on Dongseo Food’s over 50 years of accumulated coffee manufacturing technology and expertise, delivers the taste and volume of Americano, the most preferred coffee by Koreans, rather than the traditional espresso-focused capsule coffee. The Kanu Barista coffee machines come in two models: ‘Kanu Barista Urban’ and ‘Kanu Barista Breeze,’ both of which faithfully replicate the coffee extraction techniques of professional baristas.
To replicate the barista’s tamping technique that ensures ground coffee is evenly compressed at a consistent density before extraction, the patented ‘Triangle Tamping’ technology was applied. Additionally, coffee is extracted at an ideal taste using the ‘Golden Essence’ method, which achieves a golden yield of 18-22%. The ‘Dual Nozzle Bypass’ system separates the extraction outlets for water and espresso, allowing the preparation of warm Americano, iced Americano, and other desired strengths of coffee at optimal quality. The machine features intuitive buttons for extracting espresso, hot and iced Americano, and enhances user convenience with one-touch hot water addition and high-temperature nozzle cleaning functions.
