CJ Logistics launches 'Naeil Kkok! One' service: "Order today, arrive tomorrow"

CJ Logistics will launch a next-day delivery guarantee service based on the values of ‘delivery speed’ and ‘delivery confidence’ starting in April.

On the 23rd, CJ Logistics announced plans to launch the ‘Definitely Arrives Tomorrow!’ service, which guarantees that products ordered today will be delivered by tomorrow. This service will be implemented from April and will be available nationwide, excluding geographically restricted island and mountainous areas.

While CJ Logistics currently delivers most packages to customers the next day through its existing courier service, delivery can sometimes take 2 to 3 days depending on sellers’ order volumes by day of the week and season. In contrast, ‘Definitely Arrives Tomorrow!’ is a service that ensures products ordered today are delivered to customers by tomorrow through a separate service contract with sellers. If delivery is not completed by the next day, CJ Logistics will provide compensation to the sellers first.

CJ Logistics will apply a customized model so that more sellers can use the service. The service will be provided in an optimized way according to the seller’s operational situation, and accordingly, the order cutoff time for next-day delivery products will vary.

If the seller requests the entire logistics process, CJ Logistics will perform product storage, inventory management, packaging, and other tasks in bulk at its fulfillment center for products ordered by midnight today, and then deliver them to customers nationwide through its courier infrastructure.

Alternatively, if the seller does not enter the CJ Logistics fulfillment center and only entrusts the delivery process, a large transport vehicle will be sent to the seller or a pickup driver will visit to collect the products at an agreed time. These products will be transported nationwide through courier hub terminals and sub-terminals during the early morning hours and delivered to customers the next day.

E-commerce sellers on open markets and sellers using general courier services are expected to significantly enhance their business competitiveness through ‘Definitely Arrives Tomorrow!’. As more buyers experience next-day delivery, sellers can secure loyal customers. In this process, as CJ Logistics gains high delivery reliability and the next-day delivery product category expands, sellers will experience increased sales and business growth, while buyers will enjoy faster and more accurate delivery experiences. The company explained that through this virtuous cycle, ‘Definitely Arrives Tomorrow!’ will function as a catalyst driving sales and consumption in the e-commerce market.

Additionally, various automation technologies such as cargo automatic sorters and ultra-high-speed advanced scanners are applied at courier terminals nationwide, enabling efficient product movement. The next-day delivery guarantee service is an innovative delivery model born from these pioneering technologies, and the company explained that it will increase the delivery guarantee rate through this advanced technological capability.
