The National Pension Service (NPS) Fund Management Headquarters is recruiting new professionals across all areas of fund management, including a senior portfolio manager in the alternative investment sector.
On the 22nd, the NPS Fund Management Headquarters announced the 2023 first recruitment plan for asset management experts. The recruitment fields cover various areas within the Fund Management Headquarters, including investment strategy, domestic and international equities and bonds, real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and risk management.
The recruitment targets experienced portfolio managers with a certain period of investment practical experience recognized by the NPS. The total number of positions to be filled is 31, including 1 senior portfolio manager, 6 responsible portfolio managers, and 24 full-time portfolio managers, categorized by rank.
This is the first time the NPS Fund Management Headquarters is hiring a senior portfolio manager in the alternative investment sector. Applications will be accepted through the NPS website from today until July 5th, and the selection process will be conducted in a blind manner, including document screening, practical interviews, and final interviews. The final successful candidates are expected to be appointed in July this year.
Applicants who pass the document screening will undergo reputation checks by an external professional agency, and in the final verification stage, background checks and identity investigations will be conducted. To strengthen employee capabilities, the NPS will also offer the selected candidates this year the opportunity to participate in the 'NPS WING Program,' a talent development program that provides overseas training, specialized education, and opportunities to work at overseas investment institutions.
Kim Tae-hyun, President of the National Pension Service, stated, “We hope that talented individuals who can contribute to enhancing the profitability and stability of fund management will actively apply.”
