"Contributing to the Revitalization of the Bio Ecosystem"
Celltrion announced on the 22nd that it attended the 'K-Bio Lab Hub Establishment Project Business Agreement Ceremony (MOU)' and will strengthen open innovation with bio startups.

The event, held at Yonsei University International Campus in Songdo, Incheon, was attended by Lab Hub establishment institutions including Celltrion and related organizations in the pharmaceutical and bio sectors.
The K-Bio Lab Hub Establishment Project aims to create an industrial ecosystem where industry, academia, research institutes, and medical institutions collaborate to discover and nurture innovative startups in the pharmaceutical and bio fields and achieve mutual growth. Celltrion attended the business agreement ceremony to express mutual cooperation for the successful launch of the K-Bio Lab Hub, the discovery and nurturing of innovative startups in the bio sector, and the creation of a bio-industry ecosystem that can grow together.
Celltrion plans to play roles in the project, which will be fully operational from 2026, including ▲advising on the direction of the K-Bio Lab Hub ▲providing a global cooperation network ▲developing startup nurturing programs ▲collaborating on technology commercialization with outstanding startups.
Meanwhile, on the same day in the morning at Incheon Startup Park, a field meeting was held with five bio startups collaborating with Celltrion, attended by Kiwon Kwon, Vice President and Head of Research and Development at Celltrion, and Young Lee, Minister of SMEs and Startups. Key representatives from startups collaborating with Celltrion through the Incheon Startup Park development project, including Pinobio, Umtle, Portray, BioDesign Lab, and Siren Therapeutics, also participated.
A Celltrion official stated, "We are achieving meaningful results through discovering and collaborating with bio startups and actively contributing to the growth of Songdo Bio Valley. As a leading domestic bio company, we are participating in the K-Bio Lab Hub Establishment Project to play a role in revitalizing the bio ecosystem and will continue activities for the mutual growth of the bio industry."
