Dongseo University is accelerating its sustainable university management by fully activating its ESG management system.
On the 22nd, Dongseo University announced that it held the 'Dongseo University ESG Management Committee Member Appointment Ceremony' on the 21st at the Global Room of the New Millennium Hall.
The committee operates through three divisions: Environmental, Social, and Governance, and performs roles such as ▲research on step-by-step model development for ESG management ▲policy and strategy establishment ▲activity and system improvement ▲implementation performance inspection.

The Dongseo University ESG Management Committee consists of 17 members, including President Jang Je-guk as the chairperson and heads of each division, as well as internal and external advisory groups.
The committee plans to establish a regional cooperation system that practices environmental issues such as low carbon and coexists with the local community as the university transforms into a future society. It also aims to build overall directions and systems to create a model where the opinions of all members are reflected in policies.
President Jang Je-guk said, “By establishing Dongseo University's unique ESG management system, all members will practice together to become a university that contributes not only to the local community but also to humanity.”
