Revival of Open Recruitment for New Employees After 3 Years
Applications Accepted via Video Submission
Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced on the 22nd that it will conduct an open recruitment for new sales department employees for the first half of the year until the 2nd of next month.
The recruitment process begins with document and video screening, followed by ▲aptitude test ▲one-day (1-Day) interview ▲internship in sequence. During the three-month internship, candidates will be evaluated and potentially hired based on their performance. Eligibility requires graduation from a four-year university or higher.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical explained that the video screening reflects the characteristics of the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), who frequently engage with videos and freely express themselves on social networking services (SNS), and are more familiar with videos than text. A recruitment officer from Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s HR team emphasized, "Video editing skills are not very important," adding, "We want to see the applicant’s willingness to join and their values."
Additionally, the one-day interview, which received the best response from applicants in past open recruitments, has been applied again this year. The one-day interview allows candidates to showcase their abilities to the fullest through various interview formats in a single day, addressing the difficulty of demonstrating all competencies to interviewers within a short interview time. Instead of multiple rounds, candidates only need to participate in one day of interviews.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s sales roles involve not just simple relationship sales targeting hospitals and other clients but also additional consulting roles such as academic knowledge to meet the needs of medical staff while acting as partners. Furthermore, Daewoong Pharmaceutical operates a Career Development Program (CDP) that enables employees with sales experience to grow into various roles such as marketing and management departments. Sales-origin employees are currently working in diverse departments including marketing PM, HR team, and global team.
Lee Chang-jae, CEO of Daewoong Pharmaceutical, stated, "Through this recruitment, we hope to systematically cultivate sales professionals unique to Daewoong Pharmaceutical and contribute to the domestic work environment, which is entering a low birthrate and aging society."
Detailed information on qualifications and screening methods related to this recruitment can be found on Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s recruitment website. Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to provide detailed explanations of the sales roles and recruitment tips through an online recruitment briefing session.
