Middle and High School Students in Namhae-gun Take Taxis at Night for 100 Won

Holding 'Night Traffic Support Agreement Ceremony' to Help Students Return Home

Namhai-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is launching the full-scale operation of the "Nighttime 100-Won Taxi" service by holding a signing ceremony for the "2023 Nighttime Transportation Support Project for Middle and High School Students" in collaboration with local middle and high schools and taxi companies.

The "Nighttime Transportation Support Project for Middle and High School Students" is a specialized project unique to Namhae-gun, reflecting the characteristics of rural fishing and farming areas with insufficient public transportation infrastructure. Middle and high school students returning home after nighttime self-study can safely use taxis by paying only 100 won, regardless of distance.
