Members of the Korean Political Commentators Association include numerous commentators from both conservative and progressive camps, such as Cheon Ha-ram, a district committee chairman who ran for the People Power Party leadership election, and commentator Choi Young-il.

With the Korean Political Commentators Association officially commencing its activities, it is expected to play a significant role in resolving the chronic issues of polarization and factional conflicts in Korean politics.

In his greeting, President Bae Jong-ho stated, “Considering today’s political reality where normal politics have disappeared due to factional conflicts and confrontation and opposition are rampant, I feel a heavy sense of responsibility,” adding, “I will do my best to normalize Korean politics and to foster a political culture of dialogue, cooperation, and coexistence.”

The association plans to hold its official launch ceremony on May 12 at the National Assembly Members’ Office Building, with the Speaker of the National Assembly, leaders of ruling and opposition parties, prominent politicians, journalists, and association members in attendance.
