LG U+ to Recruit 'Youth Spirit,' Brand Ambassadors Exclusively for People in Their 20s

LG Uplus announced on the 22nd that it will recruit the 12th generation of 'Uth Spirit,' a marketing and promotional team as well as an advisory group for Generation Z, for its 20s-exclusive brand 'Uth' until the 5th of next month.

Uth Spirit is the new name for LG Uplus's university student supporters group 'Yudaegam (Uplus University Student Emotional Supporters),' which has been operating since 2017. Selected every semester, a total of 204 members from 11 generations have participated as supporters until last year. Starting this year, the name was changed to 'Uth Spirit,' meaning '20s who challenge with the spirit of youth,' and it has launched full-scale practical external activities.


The currently active 11th generation of Uth Spirit participated in activities such as naming preference surveys for LG Uplus's 20s-exclusive brand ‘Uth,’ campus promotions, advisory interviews on Generation Z content consumption patterns, and customer experience idea workshops, playing a role in reflecting the young sensibilities and opinions unique to Generation Z.


The 12th generation to be selected this time will serve as brand ambassadors for LG Uplus's 20s-exclusive brand ‘Uth’ and will directly participate in marketing activities such as digital content creation and Generation Z advisory roles.


University students selected as Uth Spirit members will receive practical training in content planning and production during the activity period and perform various roles including ▲creating and uploading SNS content ▲proposing promotional ideas for the Uth brand ▲conducting job interviews with current LG Uplus employees ▲providing Generation Z advisory on LG Uplus services and products related to branding and ESG activities. Additionally, they will participate in planning brand events and online and offline events.


The 12th generation of Uth Spirit will consist of a total of 50 members. Anyone who is a currently enrolled (including on leave) domestic university student or an international university student studying abroad with a public Instagram account can apply. Priority will be given to university students with digital content planning and production skills and those interested in marketing, IT, and technology.
