Hubok Woo, Head of Textbook Planning Group at Visang Education, and Lee Jun-kwon, President of the Teacher Creator Association, are signing the agreement.
Visang Education, a publisher of national and certified textbooks, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Teacher Creator Association, a nonprofit organization, to develop edutech content.
Under this agreement, both organizations plan to mutually cooperate on ▲ development and consultation of the ‘VivaSaem’ edutech content ▲ video production using digital content ▲ development and consultation of timely field content ▲ collecting feedback from educational sites.
The Teacher Creator Association, which signed the MOU with Visang Education, is a nonprofit teacher association officially registered under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Cultural Heritage Administration. Composed of teachers from kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high schools specializing in video, writing, illustration, metaverse, artificial intelligence (AI), and training teams, the association operates the free lesson video sharing platform T-Tuber, aiming to produce and share high-quality educational content reflecting field realities.
VivaSaem is an edutech-based teaching and learning support platform for school teachers that provides customized educational content for all grades and subjects to enable engaging lessons both online and offline. It also supports diverse and enriched lessons by incorporating digital content linked to each subject through edutech specialized sections such as science virtual labs, math digital tools, social studies localization resource rooms, and virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content.
Heo Bo-uk, Core Group Leader of Content Innovation 1 at Visang Education, said, “Through content development that reflects teachers’ passion and field experience, we aim to help students discover ways to explore independently and awaken metacognition.” He added, “VivaSaem will continue to support interactive edutech-based lessons in educational settings.”
Lee Jun-kwon, President of the Teacher Creator Association, said, “We are pleased to sign the MOU with Visang Education,” and added, “We hope to contribute to educational development by creating timely, high-quality digital content needed by teachers and students in the field.”
